Vitamina's Green Lorito is basically the produce section in a cup.

Getting juiced has taken on a whole new meaning. Both health nuts looking for a shot of vitamin-rich smoothies and weekend warriors detoxing from a booze binge have fueled the rise in local juiceries. Thankfully, these oases of fresh fruit and nutrients offer more than just juices. Mountain View's Bowl of Heaven specializes in smoothie-thick acai bowls, while Vitamina Juices and Blends also whips up light lunch fare.

Bowl of Heaven

Bowl of Heaven is truly as its name says. This place has a variety of juices, smoothies and acai bowls to choose from. Although it is mostly known for the amazing bowls, especially the "sea sider," the juices aren't far behind. They range from the "Green Glory," a simple green concoction that helps with your daily vegetable servings, to the beet-rich "Heart Beet," which is purported to do wonders for the ticker. 1040 Grant Rd #300, Mountain View.

KWENCH

Kwench is the place to go to in Campbell for great service and delicious, fresh juice. Store owner Reena Williams was inspired to open Kwench by her father, who was terminally ill with cancer. Her goal was to bring her own spin to the juicing community by providing natural juice that doesn't come from a bottle. Kwench's most popular item is the Cloud 9—a mixture of vegetables and fruits, including berries and oranges, which give the drink a fresh, sweet taste. 428 E Campbell Ave, Campbell.

Mak's Juice and Desserts

Inside of Century Plaza is Mak's Juice and Desserts, which carries a fantastic fresh avocado shake. Those in the mood for a simpler drink can try the fresh squeezed orange juice. This location is known for its many fruit juices and smoothies made from fresh fruits and vegetables. It is also the go-to spot for their famous sugar cane drink. 1111 Story Rd, San Jose.

Pure Juice Organics

The Pure Juice Organics truck is usually located in Mountain View, outside of the Farmers Market from 9am to 1pm every Sunday. It specializes in organic, cold-pressed juices served in a thick glass bottle, which makes the experience much more refreshing. You can buy a juice to satisfy your craving while staying healthy, or you can even buy a three-day cleanse with a choice of your favorite pressed juices. 455 W Evelyn Ave, Mountain View.

The Phoenix

This mediterranean vegan cafe and juice bar has brought a whole different swing when it comes to healthy eating and drinking. The Phoenix provides Mountain View with a vegan buffet for lunch Monday through Friday with a side of fresh juice or fruit smoothie.
