[whitespace] Brittany Adams 22 Fillmore Bus Stop @ Safeway

Words & pictures by Thendara Kida

Name: Brittany Adams

Age: 19

Origin: Southern California

What do you do?: I am a student at the Conservatory of Music.

What are you wearing today?:

Sunglasses: Gift from a friend.

Hat: Found in a vintage store in SF.

Pants: Used from American Rag.

Shirt: BCBG.

What magazines do you read?: Can't think of any right now--definitely not mainstream magazines like Mademoiselle.

How do you feel about women's fashion magazines?: I hate them. They're definitely bad for women. The articles are about silly actors/actresses or silly singers and the models that all look 13 or 14 years old.

Where do you usually shop?: Hayes Valley, Upper Haight, Crossroads Trading Company.

What epitomizes style for you?: Something that doesn't blend in well or look too downtown-chickish or Marina-chickish.

Do you feel SF is stylistically inclined compared to other cities?: Somewhat. A definite eclectic style sense compared to the more uniform sort of style that exists in LA.
