Job Interview
Lunar Eclipse
By Jack Shamama
At the tender age of 23, Jade-blue Eclipse has worn practically every hat there is to wear in the sex industry. She must be doing something right, since Annie Sprinkle lists Jade-blue as her favorite stripper and porn star. Her show, 'Three Movements through Survival Art and the Sex Industry,' plays intermittently at the Luna Sea theater Sept. 23 through Oct. 2
Call for show times.
What do you consider your job?
Survival artist--not to be confused with con artist. I did and still do things to survive--like martial arts, prostitution and stripping--and do them with honesty, integrity and creatively, and people nowadays consider that art, because supposedly honesty is a rare form of expression.
How did you start?
The question is how do you stop?
How long have you been doing it?
I've been honest the best I can all my life.
Who or what was your inspiration to enter this career?
All the people I saw live their lives passionately--live passionately, die honorably.
Do you have any pet peeves about this career?
I wish I was considered normal. Not 'cause I wanna be normal, but because living a healthy life should be considered normal. Not the other way around.
If you couldn't be doing this, what would you be doing?
If everybody didn't think I was interesting because everyone else started getting a life too, then I'd be just happy doing what I'm doing and/or I'd just do a lotta sports.
Are there any perks that you get from this job?
I touch people.
