All-day masque keeps skin
on an even Kiehl

By Diana Rupp

Unlike most face masques, which are rinsed or peeled off, Kiehl's Imperiale Repairateur All-day Treatment works 24-7 to keep skin in balance.

Alcohol-free, this invisible, lotionlike product controls shine without drying the skin. Natural silk powders gently absorb excess surface oil for a smooth, matte finish, while a bevy of conditioning ingredients, including avocado, soy bean and sweet almond oils and Vitamins A and E, nourish and repair damage.

The masque can be used alone or under makeup and comes in two formulas. Normal to oily (1oz., $12.50; 2oz., $22.50) is especially effective in the t-zone area or on the nose, virtually replacing the need for pressed powder or blotting. Oily/acne (1oz., $14.50; 2oz., $25.95) has a slightly higher concentration of zinc oxide to soothe and heal breakouts, and contains juniper tar, which draws blemishes to the surface and smells like a strong, freshly brewed cup of Lapsang Souchong.

Kiehl's products can be found at Neiman Marcus or call 800/Kiehls-1 for a brochure.
