A documentary about blind San Francisco blues singer Paul Pena, who travels to the Republic of Tuva (set between Mongolia and Siberia) to learn the almost-lost art of Tuvan throat singing, a technique that allows a vocalist to sing several tones simultaneously. Directed by Roko Belic.

Regret to Inform
A documentary about war widows made by Barbara Sonneborn, who lost her first husband in Vietnam. Shows with Opening Nights by Camille Servan-Schreiber and Andrew Gilbert, which follows a local jazz singer and her accompanist husband through the chaotic process of pulling a new show together.

Under California: The Limit of Time
Carlos Bolado's Under California: The Limit of Time is an quiet, moving film about guilt, redemption, art and family history. The movie follows a successful California artist who accidentally runs over and kills a pregnant woman trying to cross the U.S. Mexico border. Searching for solace, he makes a pilgrimage to his grandmother's remote Mexican grave site.
