Farmers Markets

IT'S LATE SUMMER and the season's produce is at its absolute peak. Eat as much corn, tomatoes, chiles and other warm- weather crops as you can before they're gone. Here is a list of five farmers markets open year round where you can get the best of what the season has to offer.

Menlo Park, between Chestnut and Crane streets. Sundays 9:30am–1:30pm.

Milpitas, parking lot off Calaveras Boulevard at Town Center Drive. Wednesdays 10am–2pm and Sundays 9am–1pm.

Mountain View, parking lot on Hope Street. between Evelyn Avenue. and Villa Street. Sundays 9am–1pm.

San Jose/Santana Row, Stevens Creek and Winchester boulevards. Sundays 10am–2pm.

Sunnyvale, South Murphy Avenue between Washington and Evelyn. Saturdays 9am–1pm.
