Sean's One-Stop Philosophy Shop
One forgets, amidst all the glitz and glamour, that the Web began as a medium for exchanging documents among academics. Grad student Sean Cearls weds the best of the old and new WWW in this staggeringly comprehensive catalog of philosophy resources and philosophers with an on-line presence. The site isn't much more than a hotlist jazzed up with Netscape flourishes and some witty writing by Sean. But it's mind boggling how much philosophy makes in onto the Internet. Sean also provides a brief recounting of his several brushes with the law because, as he says, every good philosopher should get arrested at least once. (JV)
