Dead People Server

Finally, just what I was looking for, a Web-based who's-who of dead celebrities! This is a great place to reminisce about the deservedly and not so deservedly famous dead celebs of the recent past. Who of the Gilligan's Island cast has gone to that big archipelago in the sky? Which Kennedy clanspersons (apart from the obvious ones) have shuffled off this mortal coil? And how many '60s rock stars choked on their own vomit, thus ensuring artistic immortality? Chances are, you'll find them on this list. While not exhaustive, the Dead People's Server is pretty current (yes, Deadhead mourners, Jerry was added within 24 hours of his demise). And a few not-dead-yet folks are included too, including Christopher Reeve who is cross-referenced to the comic-book Superman and TV Superman George Reeves. Unfortunately, the page has changed hands a few times and a lot of the clever commentary was stripped. Still, it's a handy little resource for the morbidly inclined and celebrity obsessed. (TLB)
