LOOK GANG, A CLUE: When the mix tape phenomenon hit the streets of the NYC, DJ Clue rode the crest of that wave becoming in the process one of New York's most sought after freestyle DJs. Clue has mixed exclusive tracks from the biggest names in the Big Apple rap scene like DMX, Jay-Z, Ja Rule and Nas scoring DJ Clue a stint with the prolific Funk Master Flex on Hot 97. WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER BOAT: The classic movie that made us scared to even swim in a lake makes its outdoor debut at Cinema San Pedro and here's hoping they crank the sound because that haunting two-note John Williams medley will sound really cool reverberating off the parking garage. In honor of the big fish that almost could, the Flying Martini Brothers Bar and Bistro will move their lounge amenities out onto the patio so drinkers can toast the second best movie villain of all time in comfort and some $5 Shark-tinis.

RETROFITTED: The Odd Numbers have been hitting San Jose since this trio was in the cradle playing underground punk and booze fueled rock that speaks to the local scene. The Numbers used to rock it all the time in Downtown San Jo and after a brief hiatus are back playing live gigs around town while still taxing their livers on the infamous dive bar crawl. This is the last free show The Odd Numbers will be kicking down at Johnny V's so come out and hear some legendary San Jo gutter punks.
